VIDEO: Chad Kagy’s spectacular crash results in broken femur
A. Isaac Chad Kagy may have come away with a bronze medal in the Freestyle Big Air event at the X Games last night, but the cost was severe. While attempting a double backflip on his second run, Kagy fell about 40 feet and slammed his head on the ramp. He appeared to be conscious while being taken away on a stretcher but reports have surfaced that he suffered a broken femur that will require surgery.
Ouch.
