VIDEO: Cyclists get into fight at Tour de France

When you think of cycling and the Tour de France, you don’t think of fistacuffs. The most you’d get in any race is some bike jostling and maybe a harsh word or two.

Well, this fight included some haymakers and a bike wheel.

The two men, Carlos Barredo and Rui Costa were fined 400 francs for the altercation (excuse me, I was under the impression that everyone used Euros now).

Anyways, let’s hope this is the start of a new wonderful tradition at the Tour. With all the extra testosterone going on with these riders, it’s a wandering around, surprised it hasn’t happened sooner.
