VIDEO: Dad goes headfirst into the stands to retrieve foul ball for son
A. Isaac At a recent San Antonio Missions minor-league game, a foul ball led to a man tripping and falling headfirst into the stands.
Under most circumstances, I’d laugh incessantly at a grown man’s lame attempt to grab a souvenir. But if you watch closely, the man gives the ball to his son, who seems more than thrilled that daddy risked “life and limb” for something nobody else in the stands seemed to care about.
Somehow the dad walks away from this medically unscathed. Humiliated? Yes. But thankfully, not concussed. Certainly a small price to pay for a moment your son won’t ever forget.
