VIDEO: Division III game ends in wild, 42-yard Hail Mary touchdown
The University of Redlands and the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps were all knotted up at 24 with only a few seconds left on the clock Saturday. Then, this happened.
The touchdown catch from Chad Hurst to Tyler Aubrey capped off a 59-yard drive that spanned only :14 seconds. Yea, it appears the good ol’ Clarement-Mudd-Scripps channeled the 1986 Browns AFC Championship game prevent defense.
That said and in fairness to the Stags, one-third of their college consortium is an all-women’s school. So yea, not exactly a level playing field there.
