VIDEO: Female contestant on ‘Jeopardy’ thinks Mario Lemieux is a soccer star
A. Isaac As an avid Jeopardy viewer, I’ve seen my fair share of stupid questions (no, they are not answers morons). This one isn’t the worst, although, it’s certainly up there. Even the most casual sports fan would be in the ballpark with this one.
I’ll tease it for you with a picture.
As Final Jeopardy’s go, this one is a slam dunk but Christen Lee pulls a Rosie Perez in White Men Can’t Jump and guesses…well, watch for yourself.
Lemieux? As in Mario or Claude? I’m confused. Either way, you just blew a huge lead because you couldn’t name perhaps one of the most popular athletes of the 20th century. Your only acceptable defense is Wikipedia being down on the night you were supposed to focus on sports. Dammit SOPA!
