In the blink of an eye, or this case a flash of an elbow, the entire Eastern Conference finals got flipped upside down. It was just two games ago that the Orlando Magic looked completely and utterly worthless. Nearly everyone thought they would get swept in Boston.
But now, the Celtics are the team who look completely discombobulated. To make matters worse, Boston now has to deal with a possible Kendrick Perkins suspension, a Rasheed Wallace injured back, a Marquis Daniels concussion and Glen “Big Baby” Davis getting knocked the f-out.
I applaud Big Baby for making a valiant effort in attempting to get up from the TKO. Although, his trip up the court closely resembled a Lindsay Lohan stagger at 2am. Had it not been for referee Joe Crawford, we would have seen an epic face plant right into the scorer’s table.
Speaking of epic collapses, could the city of Boston see two teams blow 3-0 leads in one month? Judging by the plethora of injuries yesterday, the Celtics may have to suit up Brian Scalabrine in Game 6. If that’s the case, you might as well punch the Magics tickets into the Finals right now.
