VIDEO: HS coach shatters backboard on dunk attempt

It’s not that this wasn’t a valiant attempt by the dunker–quite the contrary actually. The guy definitely got up high enough to throw it down. But instead of holding onto the ball and you know, putting through the hoop, our beloved dunker grabbed the rim and ripped it off with authority sending shards of glass everywhere.

To make matters worse, according to the Youtube submitter, this occurred after a high school practice when the coach was trying to show off.

Wonder if the maintenance cost gets deducted from his next game check?
