VIDEO: Hockey fans help out 8-year old girl during national anthem
A. Isaac Things were going well for 8-year old Elizabeth Hughes last Friday night during the National Anthem. That is, until the microphone decided to crap out on her towards the end.
Luckily for Hughes, she got a huge assist from the crowd attending the Norfolk Admirals/Connecticut Whale game of the American Hockey League.

You gotta really hand it to Hughes who didn’t even look frazzled during the ordeal. In fact, you could say she handled it like an ‘ol pro.
