VIDEO: Hope Solo, Alex Morgan screw up SportsNation intro

World Cup hotties Hope Solo and Alex Morgan are taking advantage of their emerging popularity in the United States. Solo will appear on “The Late Show” with David Letterman tonight and Morgan is featured in the October issue of Seventeen magazine.

In the meantime though, the two filmed a short intro for ESPNs Sportsnation today. Watch as Hope Solo absolutely fails at her rather rudimentary task of recalling the name of the show.
If I’m Alex Morgan, I find Rachel Buehler and punch her in the nose. If not for her mishap, the lasting image from this year’s World Cup would have been the Morgan goal and celebration (and the topless fat kid). Instead, as fans, we’re left with replays of Carli Lloyd and Shannon Boxx sending penalty kicks awry.
Ugh.
In my humble opinion, one of the biggest gags in U.S. sports history….but I digress. Alex Morgan and Hope Solo are hot. That was the point of this post right?
