Consider this your early nominee for high school football play of the year. Here’s Austin wide receiver Cayleb Jones making a spectacular one-handed grab last Friday night against Belton.
Surprisingly, even though he is in the University of Texas’ backyard in Austin, Jones has yet to receive a formal offer from the Longhorns. He has however drawn interest from several other big programs including Miami, Notre Dame, and North Carolina.
Considering the Tar Heels’ recent problems with the NCAA, that might not be a good fit for Mr. Jones. That is, unless he has a hankering for the coaches nanny.
