VIDEO: JaVale McGee tried really hard for his triple-double

JaVale McGee had a whale of a game going Tuesday night. Despite his team getting run by the Chicago Bulls, McGee was sitting on 12 rebounds and amazingly, 12 blocks with only a few minutes left to play. But his inability to do anything on the other side of the ball was keeping him from the triple-double he so deserved.

At nine points, McGee missed a free throw and that’s when the fun began. The Wizards tried to force the ball to him in the post three separate times and he failed miserably.

It wasn’t until a busted play in the lane left the ball in his hands about three feet from the hoop. Thankfully, for him and everyone involved, he didn’t miss the dunk.
