VIDEO: Jimmy Fallon as ‘Tebowie’ wins the internet

The myriad of Tim Tebow parodies and skits may have reached its peak last night with late night host Jimmy Fallon’s “Tebowie”. Fallon, who is known for his some of his weird musical renditions dressed up as David Bowie/Tim Tebow and rocked this song about his love for Jesus Christ—or something like that.

Props to Fallon, because in the Tim Tebow media bonanza this week, it hasn’t been easy to come up with something original and yet funny at the same time. One can only imagine what may come if his Broncos beat the Patriots this weekend. A game that features the hometown team favored by a whopping 13.5 points–virtually unheard of in a second round playoff game.

While I have absolutely no rooting interest in the contest, I find myself hoping and even praying the Broncos win. If only to see the internet reaction and subsequent Tebow hysteria that will inevitably follow.

And yes, also to see Fallon perform yet another strange, but oddly fascinating musical number.
