VIDEO: Jimmy Fallon thanks Tiger Woods for providing jokes

Tiger Woods’ appearances on talk shows have been few and far between the last year and a half. Come to think of it, I don’t recall a single time when an interview with him was not scripted with certain questions either being off-limits or just ignored.

But yesterday Jimmy Fallon deviated from the norm and hit Tiger with one of the all-time funniest quotes in his show’s history.

“Thank you for having the courage to come on a late-night comedy program, because it must have been a painful and awful situation–the whole thing you went through. But from a comedian’s standpoint and my monologue writers, thank you! So much! It kind of wrote itself. I mean, balls, shafts, holes, foursomes. It really writes itself. Thank you-thank you!”
