VIDEO: Kevin Durant throws down monster dunk over Brendan Haywood
A. Isaac Kevin Durant sent a message late in the first quarter that the Thunder were not going away quietly in Game 2. Trailing by 9 with a little over one minute to go against the Mavericks, Durant drove the lane and threw down arguably the best dunk of these playoffs right in the face of Brendan Haywood. It made the Dwyane Wade-Taj Gibson dunk look tame and it also produced this incredible photo.
The dunk sparked the Thunder and they rallied in the second quarter to take the lead at halftime en route to a 106-100 win. Durant ended up with 24 points but all anybody will remember from this game (aside from the win) is “the dunk”
