VIDEO: Lance Armstrong interview cut short by heckler
A. Isaac After finishing the 4th stage of the Tour de France, Lance Armstrong stopped to sign some autographs and answer a few reporters’ questions. Little did he know that a heckler lurked in the background waiting for his opportunity.
You can clearly hear him screaming “doper” and “cheater”.
Seems like the boos and hissing from the crowd are directed at the heckler himself and not Armstrong, although I wouldn’t put anything past the French. Regardless, Lance looked visibly annoyed and actually quite frazzled before he made a quick dash for the team bus.
Authorities weren’t able to apprehend the heckler but a composite sketch was created from eyewitness accounts. If you see this man, please contact the Paris police.
