VIDEO: Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas trucks little kids in game intro
Forgive Lions’ safety Louis Delmas–he’s known to be a bit tenacious when he steps on a football field. The second year starter has been hobbled in recent weeks with a groin injury. But when he found out he was healthy enough to play against the Browns on Saturday, well, he literally came flying out of the tunnel….and straight into a group of kids.
Red rover, red rover, send Louis right over.
Delmas wasn’t the only Lions player who was overly physical Saturday. Rookie phenom will be getting a call from NFL offices this week after his face mask and subsequent head toss of Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme.
One Lions fan emailed me saying:
As bad as that was, it was good to see a Lions linemen getting to the quarterback. I only wish that it was Brett Favre’s head he tried to rip off instead of Delhomme. Right?
Um yes. If I was an advocate of people getting decapitated on the field, I would certainly want Favre over any other player.
Happy?
