VIDEO: Marcus Thames rolls ankle on his own bat

Yankees outfielder Marcus Thames was so thrilled his ball slipped by two diving players in the hole, that he forgot what do with his bat.

Instead of doing the customary flip of the bat to either side of home plate, Marcus tried something a little different. He threw in right in the base path. And not surprisingly, he now has a rolled ankle to show for it.

Marcus my friend, this now ranks as one of the all-time dumbest injuries.
