willie buie VIDEO: Marquis Daniels dad argues with Magic fans

There aren’t many sporting events these days where a tazer isn’t involved. The latest victim is the stepfather of Marquis Daniels, a Boston Celtic reserve guard.

Sometime during Game 2, 55-year-old Willie Buie got into an argument with some Orlando Magic fans. When police officers came to adjudicate the situation, Buie got a little more than feisty with officers, swearing and resisting arrest. It was at that point when an officer reached for his trusty stun-gun.

An officer pulled out his Taser, put it up against Buie’s back and shot electricity into him for five seconds, the report shows. After he was stunned, Buie put his hands behind his back and was handcuffed.

Unfortunately for Buie, this wasn’t his first run-in with the law. He spent 11 years in prison for 2nd-degree murder.

Here’s some amateur video of Buie arguing with fans. Presumably, this is right before the police arrived.
