VIDEO: Mexico has their own version of the Canucks “green men”

If you’re a hockey fan, you’re probably familiar with the antics of the Vancouver Canucks “green men”. They’ve made themselves famous over the years for doing wild stunts next to the opponents penalty box while being decked out in green spandex-like suits.

Apparently, the popularity of these men has reached all the way south of the border. Wednesday, Mexico faced Honduras in the CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinals and what do you know, Mexican fans have their own version of the “green men”
Definitely not as coordinated or as creative as the Vancouver duo. That said, maybe they just need time and practice to perfect their craft. Perhaps we’ll see them make an appearance in the finals against the U.S. Saturday.
