Things didn’t exactly go the Butler Bulldogs way yesterday. In arguably the worst performance in National Championship history, Butler shot 18.8% from the field and only connected on three 2-point baskets. Players’ frustrations began to show as time wore off in the second half. Several times late in the game, the fouls were a bit harder than usual, perhaps even malicious.

Take, for example, this shove by Shelvin Mack on a Huskies player. As he flies out of bounds, the mic inexplicably catches someone on the UConn side screaming “What the F$%$”. In a game that certainly left most people fighting to fall asleep, this was one of the few eye-popping moments.
