VIDEO: Minor-league baseball team keeps fans entertained with sumo wrestling

It’s no secret that minor-league teams struggle to keep their attendance figures at an acceptable number. For that reason, many of them try dumb, and at times, inane stunts to keep the fans entertained.

Take for example this clip from a recent Myrtle Beach Pelicans game. Two fans dress up in sumo-like body suits and flop their bodies around the field like idiots. And what do they get in return? Probably a free beer and a hot dog at the team’s next home game. Exciting stuff, I know.

At the very least, these two were entertaining. Especially the “ole” one guy pulls at the very beginning of the contest.
