VIDEO: NHL ref explains penalty by cracking his voice and grabbing his junk

It appears NHL referee Chris Rooney is undergoing puberty. How else can you explain the 12-year old voice crack and the uncomfortable grabbing of his nuts during this penalty call?

Thankfully, the game between the Islanders and Hurricanes continued with no-other pre-pubescent happenings. Although, one player did offer his jock strap for Rooney to use in case he had another inkling to grab his stuff.
