VIDEO: Oscar De La Hoya addicted to drugs; contemplated suicide

Oscar De La Hoya told Univision that he has been in rehab for a drug addiction and has contemplated suicide. He also told “Aqui y Ahora’s” Teresa Rodriguez that he has been unfaithful to his wife several times. Although, he made sure to add that he wasn’t anything like Tiger Woods.

“Rock bottom was recently,” De La Hoya said, according to an English-language transcript provided by the network. “Within couple of years, just thinking if my life was even worth it. I don’t have the strength, I don’t have the courage to take my own life but I was thinking about it.”
