ABC decided it was a good idea to mic up NBA coaches during the Finals.
Phil Jackson decided it was a good idea to rip the Celtics during a timeout.

The two forces came crashing together during Game 5.

I have no horse in this race but from the sounds of it, Phil honestly thought his team had a chance last night. Let’s ignore for a moment, Kobe’s 38 points. The next high scorer was Pau Gasol with 12. And the rest of the team? Yea, nobody else scored in double digits. In fact, they shot a paltry 12-39 from the field.

Ouch.

Maybe the Zen Master should start focusing his efforts on Tex Winters’ triangle offense and less on the Celtics choking.
