VIDEO: Phoenix Coyotes get downright dirty in loss

Getting blown out at home in Game 7 had to be frustrating for the Phoenix Coyotes. The Detroit Red Wings steamrolled into their arena and played an almost flawless game en route to a 6-1 victory.

And while the Wings will move on with no major injuries in the series, they luckily avoided catastrophe on this horribly cheap play by Keith Yandle.

As Brad Stuart comes out of the box and scores a back-breaking goal with 4 seconds left in the period, Yandle takes out his frustrations on Henrik Zetterberg as he skates by.

Watch immediately after the goal and at the :47 second mark on the replay.

Considering how hard Zetterberg went into the boards, it’s quite amazing that he didn’t get hurt. It’s also quite amazing that with four officials on the ice, not a single one was paying close enough attention to see such an obvious and dangerous play.
