Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was released from jail today after serving almost two years on a gun possession charge. The first person to greet him upon his exit from Oneida Correctional Facility was none other than agent extraordinaire Drew Rosenhaus. Thankfully, Rosenhaus did not hold an impromptu press conference, as we’re told he doesn’t handle questions too well.

On a side note, although Rosenhaus is a fairly large douche, he has done his due diligence in getting Plax some attention from NFL teams again.

Rosenhaus said he has spoken to several teams about the wide receiver and expects him to play in the NFL again. He said Burress matured in prison and there are things he would do differently.

“He’s learned an awful lot,” Rosenhaus said. “He knows that he obviously made a mistake. To miss two NFL seasons in the prime of your career. To not be with your family, most importantly. To lose out on millions and millions of dollars. These are things that have forced him to certainly evaluate his life.”

“There are things he would do differently”….um yea, like not shoot himself with his own Goddamn gun for starters. If Plax can just accomplish that one ittty-bitty thing, I have full confidence he can live a long and prosperous life.
