VIDEO: Predators goalie makes lucky stick save

A regular season game between the Nashville Predators and the Edmonton Oilers wouldn’t normally peak our interest. However, this save to preserve a tie in overtime is worth a second glance.

Watch as Preds goalie Pekka Rinne drops his stick on the goal line only to have a shot a few seconds later ricochet off the handle.

Oh yea, the Predators went on to win a shootout. If for some reason, that point ends up being the difference between making the playoffs and an early golf season, well then, somebody ship that stick to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
