VIDEO: Rasheed Wallace frustrates Dwight Howard

There are a lot of things you could say about Rasheed Wallace that are true. He’s become an awful rebounder, he loves the 3 point shot more than any man his size should, and his referee antics border on the insane.

What Rasheed Wallace is not however, is a dumb basketball player. For years when Rasheed was in Detroit, the Pistons regularly manhandled the Magic and Dwight Howard. Not because they were more talented, certainly you could make an argument that Howard was the best player when those teams suited up. No, it was because Detroit played physical defense with Dwight Howard and it was led by none other than Wallace himself.

And now, as a Celtic, Rasheed is using those same defensive principles to frustrate Howard. Judging from his 3-10 performance yesterday, it seems to be working.

Who knew that Sheed, who coasted through the regular season and drew the ire of Boston fans would somehow become one of the main reasons they reach the NBA finals.
