VIDEO: Ravens-Steelers fight leads to ref taking hilarious tumble
A. Isaac With the Steelers trailing 32-7 to the Ravens, frustration began to settle in. There had been several tussles after the whistle but nothing more than pushing and shoving. That is, until this fracas at the end of the third quarter that featured headbutts, hair-pulling and referee Tony Corrente taking this hilarious tumble.
Don’t worry, Corrente recovered and officiated the rest of the game despite the “legs up in the air” moment. In the future, however, we hope he’ll think twice before trying to break up a fight between angry, testosterone-fueled men. Or at the very least, make sure Michael Oher protects his blindside.
