VIDEO: Ref hit by golf cart during game

Two years ago, high school football referee Kenneth Brooks was able to dodge insults hurled at him from coaches and fans. But when it came to dodging a golf cart manned by a 2-year-old, he failed miserably.

And now, despite the fact that he continues to work with seemingly no problems, he is suing the school district for 250k.

As much as I want to ridicule Brooks for not being very fleet of foot, I can’t get past this idiocy from the school district and the parent of the kid.

According to the lawsuit, Thurston High School employees left the golf cart unattended on the sidelines, with the key in the ignition. A two-year-old boy got into the cart and “the child’s hands or body depressed the cart’s accelerator pedal, causing the cart to travel uncontrolled across the field and strike Mr. Brooks.”

So it’s not like this kid pulled a MacGyver and hot-wired the car. While the two employees were probably taking a smoke break, this kid sneaked in behind them thinking it was one of those Flintstones cars and mistook the pedal for the floor.

And where was his mom you might ask? Well, the town slut was giving BJs under the bleachers. That’s how they roll in Springfield.

What'd you think of this?
