VIDEO: Rick Carlisle kicks ball into the stands
A. Isaac Rick Carlisle’s skills include the following…playing basketball, coaching basketball, looking like Jim Carrey.
Rick’s Carlisle’s skills do not include the following…playing soccer, kicking basketballs.
Last night, during a rather frustrating moment in the 4th quarter, Carlisle booted a ball into the stands.
He was immediately apologetic after the incident, as the ball struck a young boy in the head.
“My intent was not to kick it into the stands. I was trying to kick it to the referee, but I’m not a very good kick.”
“That can’t happen,” Carlisle said of the kicked ball. “That’s a regrettable situation. It’s something that can’t happen, but we weren’t playing well, either.
“When you’re not playing well, a lot of things get magnified.”
He may not be a very good kick but he was awesome in Liar, Liar.
