VIDEO: Romanian player blindsided by crazy fan; breaks cheekbone
A. Isaac This week in crazy soccer fan news, a man ran onto the field during a game between Steaua Bucharest and Petrolul Ploiesti and punched a player in the face. The player, George Galamaz, was blindsided by the attack and taken to the hospital for a broken cheekbone. According to the team, he’ll be out at least 45 days.

The assaulter, Dragos Petrut Enache, was charged with a variety of crimes which unfortunately didn’t include being a total a-hole. Thankfully, he’s in jail now, where he’s probably enjoying a nice shower with some of Romania’s finest criminal scum.
