Video: Ryan Miller cheered, Sidney Crosby’s goal booed in Pittsburgh

Sidney Crosby might be a fan favorite in Pittsburgh, but sometimes national pride takes precedence. In the festivities preceding the Buffalo/Pittsburgh game last night, U.S. goalie and tournament MVP Ryan Miller received a standing ovation amidst chants of USA-USA-USA from the Pittsburgh crowd.

And when the PA announcer introduced Sidney Crosby with his Olympic game-winning goal on the jumbotron, many fans didn’t take too kindly. In fact, boos are extremely audible in the video below.

I would have preferred they hung Sidney Crosby in effigy but alas, I’m just an angry American and Red Wings fan who is sick of that sniveling Canadian bastard.
