VIDEO: Timbers Army sings National Anthem
A. Isaac If you don’t think the MLS has die hard fans, then you haven’t been paying attention the last few years. Teams like the Seattle Sounders and DC United regularly sell-out games with some very boisterous spectators. But nothing this year in MLS can compare to the entire Portland Timber Army singing the National Anthem in unison last night. Sure, it’s been done at other sporting venues so, it’s not original per se. However, 17,000 plus singing it in the rain. Well, whether you are a soccer fan or not, you have to be impressed.
