VIDEO: UFC fighter Rashad Evans makes Jerry Sandusky joke
A UFC press conference yesterday devolved into Rashad Evans cracking a Jerry Sandusky joke. Evans, one of the more popular MMA fighters in the world and a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is taking on Phil Davis Jan 28th, 2012 in a fight on the Fox network.
During the press conference, the two playfully jawed with one another about who was going to take who down and so on and so forth. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Evans dropped this line.
“I’m gonna put my hands on you worse than that dude on those kids at Penn State.” Watch the video below.
It should be noted that the joke technically had some context as Davis is a former collegiate wrestler at Penn State–and a good one at that as he was a four-time NCAA All-American and an individual title winner in 2008.
That being said, just because a joke has context doesn’t necessarily mean it should be said. At least, not on the same day the pederast in question, Jerry Sandusky, gets re-arrested on new charges.
But, as some of you will undoubtedly point out to me in the comments section, I created the South Park supercut of Penn State jokes a few weeks back. And yes, I laughed hysterically, and yes, I’m a hypocrite.
But I like to have fun around here.
