A. Isaac Despite losing in straight sets to 13th seeded Richard Gasquet, Ukranian born Sergiy Stakhovsky produced the best shot of the day in 1st round U.S. Open action.
Sure, it wasn’t as impressive as the between the legs winners we’ve seen from Roger Federer over the years, but nonetheless, still impressive.
Unfortunately, after the match, Gasquet and Stakhovsky decided that a post-game kiss would not be necessary. Gael Monfils and Grigor Dimitrov, on the other hand, well, they got all lovey-dovey.
