VIDEOS: Not a good day for ball boys and girls at Australian Open

As a ball boy or girl for a tennis tournament, your job is relatively simple. Provide balls at the appropriate time, towels when the players ask for it and above all, stay out of their way during play.

For one girl yesterday, her job also included pest removal. Watch as she hilariously tries to remove a cockroach during a match between Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Lleyton Hewitt.

I don’t know about you, but I’m seeing an “Orkin girl” commercial in her future. This ball boy, however, well, he had his own troubles to deal with when a wicked backhand from qualifier Alexander Kudryavtsev just missed his head. Thankfully, his cat-like reflexes prevented a serious disaster.
