For more than 60 years, Vin Scully was the soundbite for Los Angeles Dodgers fans. More than that, he was one of, if not the greatest broadcaster in sports history — and there are many legends who have called games.

Sadly, Scully passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94. Scully was a Dodgers icon and began calling games for the franchise when they were in Brooklyn, so this is a tough one to mourn for Dodgers faithful. Frankly, this is tough for all fans, no matter which team you root for, because Scully was one of the best to do it.

Fans, players, media, coaches, and everybody reacted to the passing of Vin Scully. Losing an icon like this is never easy.

And Hank Aaron’s home run call.

Scully has been a part of many historical games, especially in the MLB, and these clips will live on forever. Here’s Scully’s call for the famous Bill Buckner debacle.

While this isn’t a call, Scully’s storytelling was marvelous, and this has to be one of the best stories he’s ever told in his career. His final send-off was emotional.

The Fernando Valenzuela no-hitter was another iconic clip from Scully, and Dodgers fans know many of these.

Scully did the Field of Dreams speech perfectly. Seriously, there will never be another Vin Scully.

Let’s relive the 1993 World Series call.

To finish it off — and there are plenty more — here’s an unreal storytelling job by Scully.

Vin Scully will be remembered for generations.
