albert haynesworth 309x205 Washington Redskins players react to the Albert Haynesworth situation

Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has made it well-known to the Redskins organization that he is unhappy, will not attend mini-camp, and wants a trade. Apparently, the schemes the Redskins’ are employing this year doesn’t fit well with Haynesworth’s vision of defensive principles. It wasn’t until today that I realized that he was the George Patton of defensive schemes.

Needless to say, Haynesworth’s absence in camp does not sit well with some of his teammates. Some are quite vocal in their criticism.

Both London Fletcher and Casey Rabach called Haynesworth “selfish.” Said Rabach: “It doesn’t sit well with the players.”

If and when he decides to attend camp, it could mean fireworks. This has training camp brawl written all over it. I, for one, am a huge fan of football fights. Nothing screams stupid more than punching each other with helmets on.

What'd you think of this?
