Tough to say whether the big man upstairs has enough compassion to bail out Jon Kitna this time.

I mean, after all, he did miraculously cure him last year from that devastating concussion…

The Detroit News is reporting that Kitna’s back may keep him out of action this week.

Lions quarterback Jon Kitna underwent an MRI exam on his injured back Wednesday afternoon, casting some doubt on his ability to play Sunday against the Vikings.

Oh no, what would my beloved Lions do without their confident leader? Maybe this week they’ll only fall down 28-0 before halftime just to give us fans a ray of hope…
