Just a few months after a heartbroken John Cena basically had an emotional breakdown on The Today Show—claiming he desperately wanted to get back with his former fiancée Nikka Bella–the two have officially called it quits after a six year relationship.
Bella abruptly dumped Cena four months back, a main reason being his lack of desire to have children. Oh, and he also made her sign a 75-page contract before she moved into his house. Dude has some stones.
The 34-year-old Bella described the breakup to US Weekly:
“After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding. After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways…. I had a beautiful and loving 6-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what’s best for me.”
Despite the breakup, Former WWE star and Cryme Tyme member JTG told ProWrestling.com:
“I know John Cena was really in love with her. I’ve never seen him like that. I’ve never seen him head over heels for a female like he was with Nikki.”
Cena and Bella have nothing to be ashamed of after making it six years together. In celebrity terms, that’s the equivalent of twelve lifetimes.
