You’d think given Alex Rodriguez’s recent problems with steroids, HGH, and other performance enhancing drugs he’d use more discretion on the doctors used to treat him.

But A-Rod either thinks he is above that or is just simply too stupid to put it all together.

The doctor in question, Anthony Galea had an assistant stopped last year at the U.S./Canadian border with two vials of HGH for him.

Dr. Anthony Galea also told The Associated Press an assistant who was stopped at the U.S.-Canadian border in Buffalo, N.Y., last year was carrying only a minuscule amount of HGH — which Galea said was for his own use. The doctor reiterated that he has never given the drug to an athlete.

“I only brought enough for her to do two injections into me because I was away for two nights,” said Galea, who believes authorities and the media have exaggerated the accusations involving him and his practice.

He reiterated that he ONLY prescribed A-Rod anti-inflammatories. I believe the swelling wasn’t only in A-rod’s hip but for his over sized head.

This tidbit of information is also not helpful to his case

A former doctor for the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts, Galea is known for using a blood-spinning technique — called platelet-rich plasma therapy — designed to speed recovery from injuries. Among the athletes he has treated are golfer Tiger Woods, swimmer Dara Torres and several NFL players.

So there is no doubt, given this information that Galea likes to skirt a few rules to get results for his athletes. And even if you think A-Rod is innocent of actually using PEDs in this case (insert snide remark here), he’s at the very least guilty of extremely poor judgment.

Busted Coverage has discovered a cache of photos of Elaine Spottswood, who is supposedly ARod’s new girlfriend, after dumping Kate Hudson.

We also know, looking at Ms. Spottswood’s Facebook account that she is a 2006 University of Florida alum.

Either way, actress Kate Hudson and the baseball star have called it quits.

The sighting comes just as reports have hit the Internet via GossipCop claiming that Miss Hudson and Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez have mutually called it quits.

Having never really officially confirmed their coupledom, the twosome were together throughout the entire summer, with a friend telling of the news, “Wow, they were happy a week ago.”

I’m not a relationship expert nor do I know the ins and outs of Hudson and Arod’s soiree, but I’m going to take a guess here and say they broke up because Arod is an enormous tool.

See sometimes, and I stress sometimes, chicks are stupid. Especially the hot ones. They go for guys that are athletic, have good bodies and are full of themselves.

Instead, they should be going for fat, out of shape guys who are down on their luck.

Afterwards, ESPN’s Hannah Storm tried to talk to all of the Yankees in attendance, but only Johnny Damon would speak on the record. What he had to say was pretty interesting.

Storm asked him about how he felt about Rodriguez’s confession, and Damon kept saying, “He could have done something worse.” When Storm kept pressing Damon about what was worse, he finally said, “He could have murdered someone.”
