Something called The 3rd Annual 2010 Art of Elysium: Heaven Gala in Beverly Hills was held on Saturday night. No idea what this event is for other than one more reason for celebrities to go out and feel important, but whatever the reason, the amount of hot tuna in the place was off the charts. Included on the guest list for this shindig were (in order below) Olivia Wilde, Sophia Bush, Ali Larter, Katy Perry (and douche), Jessica Alba, Rachel Bilson, Dianna Agron, Marisa Tomei, Camilla Belle (wearing WTF)Molly Sims, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Szohr, Amy Smart, Jaime King, Brittany Snow, Amber Heard, Odette Yustman, Emilie de Ravin, and Minka Kelly. And okay, so it wasn’t ALL of the world’s hottest women, but this was a gathering of epic proportions, you have to admit.

Once again the date of the photos I am posting here eludes me, but as before these pics are worthy regardless of when they were taken. These particular photos of one Ali Larter were taken by someone named Estevans Oriol. No clue who that is, but once again I am forced to face the fact that I chose the wrong line of work to pursue in life. Some people out there (me) might say that all Ali Larter is lacking to become just about perfect is a boob-job. I say she is almost perfect just the way she is. (Think she bought it?) Call me, Ali!

Anyone who saw the movie Varsity Blues will always have a soft place in their heart (and a hard spot somewhere else) for Ali Larter, myself included, so it was great to see her looking all awesome at some art museum party in New York last week. This is about as cute as I have seen her look in some time. Now if she’d just take my well-reasoned advice and get some boob implants she might just be able to achieve that perfection we’ve talked about… well, I’ve talked about. Like this event for Cosmo’s Fun, Fearless Males for example. When Ali puts her mind and makeup to it I’ll agree that she can step it up to levels seens by only a few females on the planet…

Time for the 2009 edition of our Sexiest Woman in the World event! As I stated last year, there are many sites and magazines that do this and in most cases they get it wrong (see Lohan, Lindsay; Spears, Britney; and Mills, Heather). Last year you, my awesome readers, voted Kate Beckinsale as the 2008 Sexiest Female on the Planet and I couldn’t have been more pleased with your taste. Let’s try not to blow it this year, okay?

Here’s how it’s gonna go down. I’ve tweaked things a bit this year. Last year we had 64 babes going head-to-head til we got down to the finals. This year we’ll have 100 babes in 10 groups of 10 with the final 10 being divided into two groups of five, then the winners of those two groups will go boob-to-boob to determine our champeen for 2009.

Just when you think things couldn’t get worse for the Detroit Lions, you read this gem from the paper…

Colletto said his headset kept cutting out and he couldn’t call plays. He didn’t say when this happened, but given Colletto’s history, I assume it was when the Lions scored 23 points in the second quarter.

“We ran plays I’ve never even seen before,” Colletto said, and I thought that was probably a good thing, but he seemed frustrated anyway.

Orlovsky seemed genuinely baffled when he was asked about the headset issues.

“Drew did a good job getting me some good stuff,” he said. “So we were good.”

What did Colletto mean when he said they ran plays he’d never even seen?

“I don’t know,” Orlovsky said. “You have to ask Jim. … I didn’t see it as a problem.”

So let me get this straight. The freakin offensive coordinator didn’t know the plays we were running?

Sounds like something out of Varsity Blues. Is Johnny Moxon going to call a five WR set next game? Is Lance Harbor going to be signaling in “Hook and Ladders”?

How the hell does Drew Stanton know plays that the OC doesn’t?

Maybe Drew isn’t as useless as Coletto thought he was.

Serious question: If you worked out at the same gym as Ali Larter, would you A) be able to focus enough to work out? B) injure yourself trying to impress her? or C) invite me to to come along? Please?

Man, this is so much better than the whip cream bikini.
