If you've had the pleasure of going to a Pistons game, you've seen the lovely ladies of Automotion, the dance team.Needless to say, they provide horny young men like myself a distraction from the play on the court.  For some odd reason though, a reason I have yet to figure out, the Pistons decided to trout out fat guys to join them. They call them the Spare Tires. And while it migh ...more.
  • DO YOU WANT BEN WALLACE BACK?

After leaving the Pistons following that horrific loss in the 2006 Eastern Conference Finals, Ben Wallace has played for 2 other Central Division teams. And he isn't good anymore. In fact, that's putting it lightly. At best, Ben Wallace is a reserve forward on 90% of NBA teams.Considering the way he left, are you happy to have Big Ben back?Poll below ...more.
  • SAY IT AINT SO JOE

I'd love to write about the Pistons, but last night I banged my head repeatedly against the wall after I heard about the Ben Gordon/Charlie Villanueva that I'm not thinking straight.I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that Joe Dumars has no clue what he's doing with this Pistons team.Less than a year ago, the man re-signs Rip Hamilton only to try and package him months later.Rip, the guy who ha ...more.
  • LAIMBEER HEADED TO NBA?

1 CommentsPosted by A. Isaac under sports
After coaching the Shock to three titles, Bill Laimbeer has finally decided to move on and give it a shot in the NBA.And while Pistons fans clamor for a coaching switch in Motown, the chances Laimbeer takes over there is highly unlikely.Personally, I'm hoping both Laimbeer and Robert Parish get NBA jobs. Then they can re-create one of the greatest rivalries in sports history. And hey, a haymaker o ...more.
  • A FINAL GOODBYE TO CHUCK DALY

Chuck Daly’s team gathered around him one last time. Rasheed's stat line from yesterday's embarrassing game 40-7 from the field, 4 fouls, -14Sheed scored 26 points in this series and pulled down 25 rebounds...Only two of those rebounds were on the offensive end. In comparison, Sideshow Bob, a man who doesn't have nearly the talent that Rasheed does pulled down 8.Rasheed's defense was beyond atrocious, sporting a -56 for the series. Now granted, th ...more.

I'm not sure what the worst part of the game was...The incessant offensive rebounds, the Lebron James dunkathon, or the myriad of defensive lapses. To make matters worse, the Pistons thought it was a good idea to stage a fake comeback in the 4th quarter to make the game look respectableTrust me, it wasn't...So in honor of the worst playoff performance in Detroit sports history, The World of Isaac i ...more.
  • DID DETROIT NEWS WRITER MAKE UP A STORY ABOUT THE ANSWER?

Two days ago, Chris McCosky of the Detroit News wrote that Allen Iverson was banned from both the MGM Grand Casino and Greektown Casino in Downtown Detroit.Allen Iverson has gone from being a one-man economic stimulus plan for the city's downtown casinos to persona non grata. He has spent a ton of money down there, but recently he's been banned from both MGM and Greektown casinos. No doubt, that wh ...more.
  • RIP HAMITON PAYS TRIBUTE TO MR. D

The Pistons have no doubt had an up and down season. And last friday, down didn't describe the mood from the players and organization upon hearing the death of owner Bill Davidson. You may have not agreed with his unwillingness to frivolously spend money like other owners but you sure as hell couldn't argue with the man's results. At every stop he made in the business world he was successful.Whet ...more.

In my continued attempt to pump up Half-Man, Half-Hermann for next year's all-star game, here is a clip from this past Monday's Pistons/Magic game.Half-man does his best Dr. J impression with the reverse layup from the other side of the lane.Pretty damn impressive if you ask me. Not as good as that inbounds play though ...more.
  • WALTER HERMANN GETS CRAZY ON AN INBOUNDS PLAY

A couple of weeks back, a friend of mine told me about this crazy inbounds play from Walter Hermann."Half man-Half Hermann", the nickname I've given him, is known for his energetic behavior on the court. But this particular play, well, let's just say its sloppy as hell.I applaud his effort nonetheless.(Props to J-win and Need4sheed for the video) ...more.
  • THE ORLANDO MAGIC ARE FRAUDS

After getting to see the Magic up close and personal yesterday, I came away unimpressed. This was supposed to be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference?Spare me.I have no doubt that if the Pistons somehow faced them in the playoffs, the Magic would be lucky to get two games. They are flawed on both sides of the court and their coach, well, Ron Jeremy couldn't even out coach the venerable ...more.

Its a slow sports day and that brings us to the Pistons who are hosting Chauncey Billups and the Nuggets tonightConveniently, and I mean very conveniently, Allen Iverson went down with a bad "back" a couple of days ago. Now I'm not calling shenanigans or anything but oddly, Iverson has went for a second opinion at his old stomping grounds in Georgetown. This came shortly after Rip Hamilton led the ...more.
