Desperate to win back her obsessed boyfriend, who had insisted she wore a blonde wig and copy Miss Alba in every way, the 21-year-old woman is prepared to spend a fortune on the very physical make-over. However they have revealed that the woman is well off and that ‘money is no object as long as the end result is to turn herself into a Jessica lookalike’.

Identifying herself only as Xiaoqing, the woman told the Shanghai Daily that her 28-year-old ex-boyfriend was so obsessed with Miss Alba that he hung photos of her on the walls of his home and carried her image on his mobile phone.

‘He was always telling me to do my make-up like Jessica does, even when I’m asleep,’ she said.

‘At Christmas time he gave me a blonde wig to wear and asked me to keep it on all the time.’

The girl said that part of the reason she wants to do it is because she’s “a psychologically weak person. I want to do something to challenge myself and build a strong personality through it.” Because typically, the best way to get stronger and have a solid belief in who you are is to get massive reconstructive surgery to look like a hot girl whose biggest acting achievement came when she was invisible and then got seen in her bra and panties along with a guy who stretches like rubber and some guy made of rocks. Shoot for the stars.

At the same time, if you’re so well to do and willing to completely give up who you are in a misguided quest for beauty, why not just steal Jessica Alba and switch brains with her? Money’s not an object and I’m sure there’s some doctor out there who wants to make history. Renowned researcher Dr. Frankenstein has already provided a strong roadmap for scientific invention in the field. Just strap some bolts in your neck, wait for lightning, boom…you’re Jessica Alba. Plus, it’s China. The biggest regulations they have there on something like that are just that your new mutant Alba doesn’t talk about what happened in Tienanmen Square.

Something called The 3rd Annual 2010 Art of Elysium: Heaven Gala in Beverly Hills was held on Saturday night. No idea what this event is for other than one more reason for celebrities to go out and feel important, but whatever the reason, the amount of hot tuna in the place was off the charts. Included on the guest list for this shindig were (in order below) Olivia Wilde, Sophia Bush, Ali Larter, Katy Perry (and douche), Jessica Alba, Rachel Bilson, Dianna Agron, Marisa Tomei, Camilla Belle (wearing WTF)Molly Sims, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Szohr, Amy Smart, Jaime King, Brittany Snow, Amber Heard, Odette Yustman, Emilie de Ravin, and Minka Kelly. And okay, so it wasn’t ALL of the world’s hottest women, but this was a gathering of epic proportions, you have to admit.

For some reason the People’s Choice Awards was held on a Wednesday (last night) as opposed to a day when, you know, people actually want to watch TV. Anyhoo, it happened, babes attended, there were photos, and I present them to you now. Welcome to the 2009 edition of our Sexiest Woman in the World event! As I stated last year, there are many sites and magazines that do this and in most cases they get it wrong (see Lohan, Lindsay; Spears, Britney; and Mills, Heather). Last year you, my awesome readers, voted Kate Beckinsale as the 2008 Sexiest Female on the Planet and I couldn’t have been more pleased with your taste. Let’s try not to blow it this year, okay?

Here’s how it’s going down. I’ve tweaked things a bit this year. Last year we had 64 babes going head-to-head til we got down to the finals. You have to admire Campari liquor for knowing how to get people to check out its 2009 calendar of booze and booze-related accessories (including glasses, pools, and children drowning because you were too drunk to make sure they didn’t fall into the pool). More people are posting about this just because Jessica Alba did it than you could imagine.

It’s kind of unfair that they have Jessica Alba promoting the liquor though. Like yes, she’s hot, but odds are that if you’re drunk off of a vat of Campari, you’re probably not going to be hooking up with Jessica Alba. Best case scenario you’ll be having sex with a doll wearing the swimsuit she’s wearing. Worst case, you’re having sex with that a lithe gentleman with a persistent coughs and sarcoma on his face. Or a bear. And trust me when I say that having sex with a bear is probably slightly less enjoyable than Jessica Alba.
