It’s Friday and hot celebrity babes have apparently already called it a week so I am scraping the bottom of the barrel here. The good news is that it’s still a pretty sexy barrel since it’s Sofia Vergara out walking around doing … something, somewhere. And she’s doing it in a cleavage revealing top! Yay cleavage! Also, if you squint REALLLY REALLLLY hard you can make out her underpants. Yay underpants! Not that I did that. Someone told me about it … … … shut up.

I don’t know for sure if these photos are new or not and I don’t know what SoHo magazine is, but it’s Sofia Vergara in her underwear so you are for sure going to get to see them. Right. Now. If you haven’t seen her on Modern Family yet, you really need to watch the show. I don’t even care if you enjoy the actual show. Turn the sound off and watch Sofia jiggle around for a while. Emmy material? No doubt about it.

Because it’s been at least four days since the last time the people of Hollywood celebrated their own existence the Screen Actors Guild threw a little awards party on Saturday night. And being that it was an awards show, many beautiful women had to attend. As is the custom each year around this time, dozens of self-important people called ‘actors’ got together to celebrate their own greatness (several times, actually). Kind of like me an my buddies do at the 7-11 every Friday night. Unlike us though, they have a name for their event: The Golden Globe Awards. And being that it’s a swanky affair, a whole flock of sexy babes were there. For some reason the People’s Choice Awards was held on a Wednesday (last night) as opposed to a day when, you know, people actually want to watch TV. Anyhoo, it happened, babes attended, there were photos, and I present them to you now. If ever there was a woman who you would call “loaded” it would be Sofia Vergara. So it makes complete sense for her to appear in a magazine with that very name. I am so glad that Sofia is now acting in that show Modern Family. Even if you don’t like the show itself, it’s well worth having on with the sound turned down just for the glimpses of her ample goodies. It really is TV at it’s best.

1972… The Godfather is released in cinemas. An extra leap second is added to end the month of June. The Summer Olympics are held in Munich, West Germany. The first episode of The Price Is Right is hosted on CBS by Bob Barker. And this wonderful group of women were born…

So for those of you who don’t like football, the next best thing on TV last night was the American Music Awards. Not for the musical performances or the awards that were given out, but for the simple mass of sexy humanity that was in attendance. I watched football. myself, but I kept tabs on the babes that patrolled the red carpet just for you, because I knew you’d want a full report. So that big movie 2012 was released upon the general public the other day. Big whoop, right? Well, considering the high quality of the women in attendance I predict that this movie will be a smash hit. Welcome to the 2009 edition of our Sexiest Woman in the World event! As I stated last year, there are many sites and magazines that do this and in most cases they get it wrong (see Lohan, Lindsay; Spears, Britney; and Mills, Heather). Last year you, my awesome readers, voted Kate Beckinsale as the 2008 Sexiest Female on the Planet and I couldn’t have been more pleased with your taste. Let’s try not to blow it this year, okay?

Here’s how it’s going down. I’ve tweaked things a bit this year. Last year we had 64 babes going head-to-head til we got down to the finals. This year we’ll have 100 babes in 10 groups of 10 with the final 10 being divided into two groups of five, then the winners of those two groups will go boob-to-boob to determine our champeen for 2009.
