Behold the latest slew of crappy, election themed games

It’s bad enough that Obama vs Romney is bring out the worst in people, who are blinded by party loyalty and an all around skewed sense of reality, but it’s also inspiring iOS developers to make some truly lame election themed games as well.

First off, I take back everything I said about VOTE!!! The Game I’m still no fan of Infinity Blade‘s gameplay, but at least it has some merits, plus VOTE has some halfway decent graphics (given the developers, and the money they have in the bank, that’s hardly a shock).

Anyhow, Political Arena hits the App Store tomorrow that’s basically the same idea, and is even more interactive to boot. But that doesn’t necessarily make it a better game…

The key selling point is that it’s free, but has in-app purchases. With the money from that will go to your candidate of choice. How cute.

And somehow it looks like a work of genius when compared to Mad Humans Election 2012. Which at least has a semi-interesting title. To cover up the fact that it’s just a game in which you toss tomatoes…

Though I will say, the idea of knocking Chinese communists with what looks like a boomerang that’s made out of pizza is fairly novel.
