Are you a big fan of Mortal Kombat‘s Sub-Zero? Enough to purchase a life-sized replica of his head? One that’s almost a grand? Hello? Are you still there?

Everyone knows that comic book, movie, and video game dorks often spend way too much on the dumbest of things, but very few know the depths that such insanity will so go. Mostly because now everyone is aware of Sideshow Collectables, which makes some of the craziest cash grabs imaginable, as well as the most pricey.

Like the Sub-Zero Life-Size Bust. I mean, just look at the damn thing. It’s one thing to have a replica Thor hammer or some other make believe weapon. But to have an imaginary person’s entire head? And this coming from a person that has more than a few collectable figures; at least they’re not life sized, close to a $1,000 in price, and they’re not starring at me.

Now, if you’re still interested, but $699 is just a bit too much, Sideshow totally understands. Hence why they’re offering a $619 model as well. What’s the difference? Not the faintest of ideas.

What'd you think of this?
