cPRO+ makes Craigslist far more usable
Craigslist, the website, is an open air bazaar on the Internet. You can get everything from sports tickets to a massage on there. The problem, however, is that the site is designed with all the elegance and grace of a bulldozer after you drop a steamroller on it.
So cPRO+ is here to make it actually usable.
Essentially, it’s an Android and iOS app that allows for more complex and detailed searches of the site. It also brings a few innovations that are long overdue to Craigslist, like previews of the photos attached to the post, multi-city searching, and a better mapping function.
Not everything about it is ideal. I shelled out for the $1.99 version and wound up using it on my smartphone since the app isn’t Nexus 7 compatible yet. And there are moments where the app will take you back to the top of the list instead of taking you back to the entry you selected.
That said, it still made browsing Craigslist a much less painful experience, and the saved searches and account management tools are incredibly useful. Now if only somebody would come take away this couch I’m trying to unload.
