If you’re a Halo fan who somehow still doesn’t have a 360 (or more than likely, had one that’s now dead), a brand new thing to blow money on is waiting for you later this year.
Pictures of the console with the custom paint job began circulating earlier this month, but these are the first IRL images we’ve seen, and they don’t look nearly as horrible as one had initially assumed. It’s definitely one of the best looking game-specific 360s ever, though that’s not saying much.
Inside you’ll find a 320GB hard drive (most custom coated consoles also have meager insides, so this is also good news), comes with two controllers (instead of the usual one, which is also nice), and makes Halo-specific sounds when you turn the thing or or fiddle with the disc tray.
The Limited Edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 is available for pre-order right now via Amazon, and I’m guessing Gamestop as well, if you prefer that place. Comes out on November 4, alongside the game (which is included, obviously).
